Salmon Arm, BC
Out with the Canon G10, my handy pocket camera, 14.7 megapixels of CCD goodness.
I had about thirty minutes to circle McGuire Lake Park. Luckily the sun broke through and illuminated the scene. Shooting from different angles I focused on the effects of the light, mostly side and back light, trying to capture the textures and the sky reflecting off the water’s surface.
Lately I’ve been shooting through things as a way of adding depth with foreground, mid-ground and bakground interest. I think the reflecting sky also helps to add depth.
