A windy day at Cruickshank Point on Shuswap Lake stirred up the clouds in these high contrast shots.
The sky was so moody and foreboding, and the harsh, late afternoon light lent itself to editing in black and white. My shutter speed was pretty fast with so much light streaming in. I like this kind of high contrast image as the highlights play off the shadows, as in the birch trees playing off the clouds and fir trees.
